take a peek into my life

i decided to post this clip (and specifically this section) because i smiled over at my dad who was in the audience for my final asp ever. truly grateful for everyone that was present and so honored to have been amongst so many talented individuals, once again. 🩵 and lets address the elephant in the room shall we?… yes, i did sing “this is the life” by hannah montana for asp. although it’s a tune from a kid’s tv show, the lyrics themselves felt like they truly encapsulated my journey @ college… to keep on dreaming big and not taking life so seriously. also because it brought back that sense of childhood nostalgia, specifically pretending to be a popstar and putting on a show in my childhood home living room (specifically the times my cousin @alix9497 would come over and we would pretend that we would be performing for a massive crowd… this song was for those two kiddos 💖)

i needed to post this before i decide to post anything else but a month ago, i performed once again on the @rnrproductionsccc stage. did i doubt myself (a little bit) having to sing a queen song? yes. did i persevere and gave it all i got. well, yes!
i’m incredibly thankful for everyone that was on stage (and in the crowd, too!) with me during “somebody to love”. during the entirety of the song, you all made me feel like you were all holding my hand (in a punk edgy rockstar way, ofc ;) ♡ i’m also in awe of those that performed in the many other decades of rock! our little rnr family :’)
and ALSO special thanks to @palomaaaamar for altering my freddie ringer tee on such short notice… ur a real one ♡
and to my dad for being there. :))

2024 has been the most thrilling year thus far for me. it was my personal “breaking-out-of-my-shell” year where i got to put myself out there after years of doubting my potential. grateful for all the people that saw something in me, those that made it possible for me and for those that stuck around to see me grow as an artist. here’s to 2025 🩵💿

AHHHHHHH my v first christmas single !!! i’m so happy !!!! being a christmas baby myself, it was only fitting that i create an original christmas song at some point. this song has been sitting on my finder app for an entire YEAR !!! eternally thankful for @iam.kacie to have lend a helping hand in bringing this song to life. she was so open to helping me write the chorus as we were sitting in her couch, bouncing off ideas that would fit with the mumble demo i had with me.
and singing the background vocals too, hello? oh and also, this single contains an instrumental, an a cappella track and the never before heard mumble demo that i created in my makeshift vocal booth closet.
i hope u guys enjoy the single and have it be part of your winter festivities 🩵❄️

it’s been 1 week since i performed at my v first advanced studio performance. being amongst my peers whom i greatly look up to and am inspired by was a treat. also to have been in a room w/ my vocal tech i / rnr sisters was v special to me because… hello? GROWTH. (i’m looking at u mary, bea n claire). also, never in a million years, did i ever think to be in 471. ever. a lot of the staff continue to tell me how they first met me and how proud they are of the progress i’ve made as a vocalist. i don’t toot my own horn very often or recognize the work i’ve done to improve, but yeah, i’m proud of me, too. also to have my dad in the audience was so special for me as well. i did it for him. i did it for me 🤍

i’ll never shut my mouth up but i will always be grateful for samar, nate, daniel & stephen who were all willing to rehearse with me, accompany me on stage and perform two of my originals with me. you don’t understand. i’m getting a lil teary eyed typing this. but truly. getting to hear the songs i write and produce in the comfort of my room in a live setting is so so surreal. core memory.
